
Anne Karch, President
Anne returns to the LOV Inc Board of Directors in 2026, having previously been a board member and the LOV President. Anne’s family has been a part of the LOV community for many years, initially participating in LOV programs to find support and connection as they worked to support their daughter with a disability. Anne has two other children, and before retirement, she was an elementary school reading specialist.

Lisa Pugh, Vice President
Lisa is the parent of a young adult with a developmental disability and has been familiar with and an admirer of LOV since our start. Lisa is semi-retired, working most recently as host of the weekly Newsmakers show on Wisconsin’s Public Affairs Channel, WisconsinEye, and previously worked as a professional disability advocate, lobbyist, and non-profit leader with The Arc Wisconsin. She was appointed by President Obama to the President’s Committee for People with Intellectual Disabilities and by Governor Evers as Co-Chair of the Governor’s Task Force on Caregiving.

Rabha Elfarra, Member at Large
Rabha Elfarra is a parent of two young adults. Her eldest, Yasmine (born in Rochester, NY), participates in LOV Inc. activities including bowling, LOV @ the Movies, the Annual Talent Show, the Summer Picnic, and potlucks. Rabha graduated from the School of Pharmacy at Cairo University in Egypt. She has been living with her family in Madison since 1986. Rabha has been an active member of LOV-Dane, now LOV Inc., since 2015.

Alex Lena, Member at Large

Kelli Simpkins, Member at Large
Kelli moved to Madison in 2011 in search of an inclusive educational experience for their son with a disability and has since witnessed the positive impact LOV has on individuals with disabilities and their families. Kelli works in healthcare and education recruitment, primarily working to build and support teams serving individuals with behavioral health, intellectual, and developmental disabilities. She has also been involved in several local advocacy and advisory efforts focused on inclusive education and disability services and is a graduate of Wisconsin’s Partners in Policymaking program.

Susan Van Mell, Member at Large
Susan and her husband have two children, including a son with a disability, who has participated in the LOV Bridge Builder Project for many years. She values the community and social skills her son has acquired through his time with LOV and hopes to help others also benefit from LOV’s programs through her work on the Board of Directors. Susan is currently enjoying retirement, previously working as an RN and before that, in market research for American Girl.
