We hope you can join us on June 23rd for our annual LOV Picnic. We will have all of the usual summer picnic fun with planned activities (more information to come), including our Rock Paper Scissors Tournament! Join us, rain or shine, under the Demetral Park shelter.
LOV wants to recognize our members for the hard work that they do in the community. If you’d like to be recognized or would like to nominate someone you know, please fill in the job recognition questions during your event registration. Alyssa will be sharing all job recognition submissions at the picnic, and participants will be given a certificate to reflect their work in the community. As in year’s past, we ask that everyone brings a summertime dish to share for the potluck lunch. We will have lemonade, water, and soda available, but you are welcome to bring your own drink of choice.
If your last name starts with…
A-M, bring a main dish.
N-S, bring a side dish or salad.
T-Z, bring a dessert.
What is the Rock Paper Scissors Tournament?
The Rock Paper Scissors (RPS) Tournament will happen during the picnic. RPS is a simple game that anyone can play. The tournament will be free to participate in, and we’ll have some awesome prizes for all participants, a trophy for the first place winner, and awards for second and third place. This will be an instant elimination tournament – sign up will happen at the picnic. The winner will get a trophy and bragging rights until next year’s tournament.
